The collaboration food of Splatoon 3, available at 7-Eleven in Japan, is actually quite delicious.

Splatoon 3 is really popular in Japan, so it should come as no surprise that it’s going to generate collaborations and crossovers. The largest and most visible convenience store chain is 7-Eleven, which released an entire menu filled with themed foods.
Among them, you can find treats ranging from full meals to desserts and snacks. They’re actually pretty popular, so it took me a few hours to walk between several of the 7-Eleven convenience stores in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro area to collect each item on the menu.
We have a curry dish, two different cup noodles, a squid burger, a donut, a melon pan, and two desserts in the form of fruit jelly and enine tofu with strawberry jelly.
Since Japan is still partially closed to tourists (only for a few weeks, luckily), I ate them all so I can tell you what they taste like. Of course, I did it out of curiosity for science and journalism, and not entirely because I’m a gourmet.
You can see each item in the video below and hear my impression of each. “Beef vs Butter Chicken Turf War Curry” was definitely the star of the show, but most of the food was quite enjoyable.
Most who know 7-Eleven in other countries may be surprised by the fact that the chain’s food in Japan is actually quite good, and what this collaboration has to offer is no exception. Of course, the shops are decorated for the occasion with banners and posters that depict Splatoon 3’s imagery and characters, as you can see in the gallery below.
Splatoon 3 is currently available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. If you want to know more, you may enjoy our review.
