Ringtail slime can be found in various areas of the Amber Valley. But before you can enter Amber Canyon, you must pass its gate guard, the Pink Gordo. Fortunately, it is particularly easy to outgrow because its diet consists of meat, vegetables, and fruits, all of which can easily be found in the vicinity of Rainbow Island. Once you’ve crossed Pink Gordo and interacted with the device to open the portal to Amber Valley, you’re one step closer to finding Ringtail Slime.

Ringtail Slimes are incredibly timid and do most of their work when it is dark. Due to a mysterious condition that turns them to stone during the day, they can easily be found roaming in various areas of the Amber Valley during the night or in places where the sun does not penetrate, such as in caves. However, ringtail slimes can still be found during the day, although being more difficult they will freeze and not be as active. If you find that they have turned to stone when the sun goes down, you can still use your vacuum on them and then bring them to a cave afterward so they can return to normal.
