The Warzone 2022 NA winners of the World Series have been crowned and we have a recap of how it went down.
Warzone’s World Series began last night with the European competition. Here, it was Savultras, Beyblade and Vartex who came out on top with a win by just 0.5 points. It was a night full of intense competition, with some of the best Call of Duty: Warzone players in Europe fighting one-on-one for $300K in prize money.
The program continued tonight as well. This time, pitting the best players from North America against each other. The difference in playstyle between NA and Europe is easily seen, with most European players having a more calculated playstyle than the run-and-gun nature of North America.
This can be seen in the difference between the two competitions, with the NA winners scoring 130 points, and the second place losing 24.
Skullface, Hisoka and Mayappo win Warzone’s World Series NA
Warzone NA’s World Series crowned Skullface, Hisoka and Mayappo as their champions for the 2022 event. All three are well-known names within the Warzone scene, with Skullface usually competing with Europe’s WarZZ in the past, Hisoka Jukeze and Mayappo’s former teammate competing in previous tournaments with Rated.
The trio is known for their aggressive playing style, with Mayappo leading the elimination leaderboard throughout the tournament, with Hisoka in 7th and Skullface in 8th. It was actually a two-half event for this team, with 17th and 22nd place in their first two matches, earning no multiplier. But his large number of kills kept him in the running before two back-to-back victories with 21 and 29 kills cemented his lead in the tournament.
Second-placed Supereven, Biffle and Repulz put up a fight and looked like they could challenge for victory, although an opening team in the final game ruined their chances, and Skullface, Hisoka and Mayappo were crowned. Saw it take
There’s still the SoloYolo contest coming up tonight, where one player will go home with $100K for himself.
