The pack is similar to the game’s well received Discover University Expansion – and high school grads will decide where Sims attends college, with Simms having the option to study online for his GED.

In Copperdale, Sims participate in classes and extra-curricular activities, which means walking the halls, studying for tests, and going to exercises. But they can also joke around or skip class – although they could be in big trouble if the principal catches them. At home, teen Sims can decorate their rooms and roam in bed scrolling on social media. Even teen sims can now exit homes through a window to break the curfew a bit. For hangout spots, there’s Thrifty, a thrift store, and a boba tea spot. Sims may also have their first relationships with other students, and go to the fair and try to go down the tunnel of love with their crush.
Free Update Sim is full of small changes to the social experience that leave a big impact on the game. For example, players can now set their Sims’ sexuality and attractiveness to those of other Sims. The modular set of options allows players to create scent and asexual Sims as well as other queer identities. Developer Maxis added the ability for Sims to choose their pronouns in May, and this update builds on that to make choices more inclusive.
There are also other changes to the Sim’s daily life that look promising as well. Sims from all stages of life can now have varying degrees of chest, arm, back and leg hair, which is attractively indicated for adaptation.
Other Sims will also have a little more autonomy in their relationships with each other. Sims can now classify each other as crushes, and Sims from other households can start romances with player-controlled Sims. This small change can make a big difference, as Sims romance usually involves finding someone and actively pursuing them.
The Sims will also pursue desires and fears, which are small goals from the moment. There’s also a new feature for socially awkward people. While all of these free changes pertain to the average teen—body hair, crushes, and social phobias are certainly par for the course—they all apply to Sims of all stages of life.
