Today Atlus released another gallery of screenshots of the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2, focusing on gameplay features.

Today Atlus released yet another gallery of screenshots and details for the upcoming JRPG Soul Hackers 2.
Below the city where the game is set, there is a location called Axis, which Ion uses as his base. There you can interact with the flamma, which represents the ion.
Within Axis you can find a series of dungeons involving the Soul Matrix, Arrow, Milady and Syzo. These dungeons represent their mental state and the deeper Apple connects to them, the more deeply they can be explored.
You can use the enemies that appear within the Soul Matrix to increase the powers of your party, while you can also find Vision Quests that will let you explore their past.
You can also get orders from Aeons, which are basically quests that offer special rewards. When your soul level rises above a certain threshold, you’ll be able to acquire Summoner skills in the Soul Matrix. These have various effects such as buffing stats or increasing the power of the Sabbath.
Within the Soul Matrix you can also find extremely powerful enemies that you must avoid unless you are up for a very challenging battle.
Along with the screenshots, we also see artwork of various monsters, including the Frost “family”.

Soul Hackers 2 will release on August 26, just a day after the Japanese launch on August 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Windows Store).

Set in the Shin Megami Tensei universe Soul Hackers 2 follows an entirely new story about two agents of Ion, Ringo and Figure and their fight to stop the destruction of the world.
