When I took him on Zoom, Adam Boyes was thrown a spear from the top floor of a skyscraper. “I’m starting my Monday off right,” said the Iron Galaxy co-founder.
“Do you know who dealt with you?” I asked thunder poem, The one that Iron Galaxy launched on August 12th is a melee battle royale, so there’s no headshots from across the map to completely surprise new players. But it’s still a pro wrestling-themed brawler, one that makes a lot of done-license-plate powerbombs and blindside hits.
“I don’t, but sometimes I pay attention to people’s names, just to make sure they’re not coworkers,” Boyce said, “who I have to talk to.”
thunder rhymeThe first season of U.S. debuted on Thursday, as the free-to-play game everyone embarked on their initial Battle Pass of cosmetics and other content offerings. But, since everyone in the game is new to the game, I thought it would be nice to get a to-do list of what to do first. thunder rhyme from the owner himself. Here’s what the Boyz told me:

go to playground mode
“And stop the combat,” Boyz reminds, so people aren’t bothering you as you explore the map and maybe hang up the move set. Playground mode has several tutorial boxes for players to (easily) find, providing tips on how the game’s combat system, builds, and power-ups work.
Playground mode is an important part of onboarding, Boyce said, and indirectly, its need for it was one reason Iron Galaxy abandoned plans to launch Early Access in February. “There were a lot of reactions that we were seeing as we were thinking [a delay]Boyce said, even though the studio was “very confident we could launch a solo mode” in Early Access.
“But I think a lot of players want more than that,” he said, and the response Iron Galaxy was receiving this winter confirmed it. After a trial in December, many players were asking for a sandbox where they could become familiar with the game.
“We felt very strongly that Playground Mode, Duos Mode would come at launch, and hope that people will be happy to try new things out there,” Boyce said.

Understand where the POIs are
like a battle royale, thunder rhymeK fighters drive themselves to Grapital City and land at a landing spot from above. “The longer the field, the more sweat it usually gets,” Boyce said, which means more players and more action.
thunder rhyme Battle Royale prides itself on bringing a lot of verticality, so skyscrapers are natural honeypots filled with loot items. “If you are going in, and you want your match time to be very short, go to a high area where all the gold crates are, and please enjoy,” the Boyz joked. “The advice I give to new players is: Look where people are jumping in and going in.”
always rob
In thunder rhymeOf course, the good news and the bad news are the same: Your builds, which include strength, health, and stamina, have to be rebuilt, game-to-game, with stat pods. These are items that pop out of gear crates, just as players hunt and equip in more traditional battle royale.
It also means that players can’t rely too heavily on a particular playing style, as they can break open stat pods that don’t necessarily match it. Familiarize yourself with where the booty pickups are in Playground Mode and Beeline for their secret fishing holes in the real game, said Boyz. Don’t forget to check out the special moves too. They’re lootable, like stat pods, and equipped with additional attacks on bumper buttons, like the javelin tackle that the Boyz acquired earlier this week.
pick up some chicken
Familiarize yourself with Squatch Chicken: The Home of Slow-Squared Chicken. Chicken improves health thunder poem, A large chicken is good for two heals with, and a standard drumstick is good for one. Players can put the chicken in their inventory and use it when they are in trouble; As soon as they pick it up, it is not consumed.

Find weapons and throwable items later
In thunder rhyme, pretty much everything can be turned into a weapon. But Boyce suggests that new players get comfortable with basic melee moves before improvising attacks with folding chairs or throwing things, as it brings an aiming system into play.
“I think I saw [last] The weekend, as it progressed, more and more people were using weapons,” Boyce said, indicating that new players are working on that strategy after first getting the other basics down.
“We’ve had to do a hot fix to a combat exploit where people take a road sign, and it does quadruple damage, and they were destroying five people,” Boyce said. “I would see piles of KOs and I was thinking ‘I think this may be related to a bug.’” So weapons may be the most unstable component thunder rhymeearly ecosystem.
In the end, “just have fun,” Boyce said. “I mean, enjoy the world. You’ll hit a lot, you’ll hit a lot. We’ve tried to create something where, sometimes, it’s as much fun to lose as it is to knock someone off a building.”
