Valorant Patch 5.07 Complete List of PBE Agent Changes
“We’re in a more stable position since the Champions, and the Game Changers teams will have a good time getting used to before the Game Changers World Championships happen.” When it comes to duels with Flash ability, many of them have to be seen by some people. has been overtaken by. Creating a kill for ourselves when it comes to our initiators. Skye and KAY/O are often better at taking offensive 1v1s than the agents we expect to thrive in scenarios like Yoru, Phoenix or Reyna. ” said the Valorant designer.
“The following changes are intended to increase Sky and KAY/O’s total teamplay output when they coordinate plays with their teammates, and reduce some of their efficacy when played alone. We’re looking to master their Flash abilities. In our opinion, initiators should still be able to make solo plays, but they should ideally be weaker than their duelist counterparts in these scenarios” Dan “Penguin” said Hardison.
Guiding Light’s destructiveness didn’t feel like meaningful counterplay, instead being openly punished when Skye tried to throw them over long distances. By increasing the top-end output and rewarding Skye for hooking her birds in the right places, Riot seeks to foster more teamwork and separate her guiding light from the rest of Agent Flash in the game—especially when duelingers are involved. in comparison.
Guiding Light (E) Flashbang Scaling Pattern Changed
The maximum flash duration of Sky’s Guiding Light is now increased from 1.25 to 2.25 seconds after being cast over a .75 charge
Guiding Light can no longer be destroyed by shooting
New VFX, UI and sounds added to communicate new gameplay intent
Uneven delay from guiding light .75sec >>> .85s . grew from
KAY/O’s underhanded FLASH/DRIVE (left-click) is performing better relative to other “pop” flashes (eg, Phoenix Flash or Yoru Flash). And we feel as though left out left overhand throws aren’t offering them a powerful enough reward for the mastery needed to pop them in the right spot. This tuning makes the right-click weaker than the duelists’ pop flash, with the belief that KAY/O should pay the price for its versatility.
Underhand (right-click) flashbang maximum duration reduced from 2 seconds to 1.25 seconds
Overhand (left-click) flashbang maximum duration increased from 2 seconds to 2.25 seconds.
[Not in PBE] Uneven delay between both flashes decreased from .6s to .85 seconds
via a twitter postIn , Riot’s heroic team reveals their goal of ‘making sure’ the game’s initiators aren’t outnumbering the duelists when it comes to creating kills for themselves with their glow. “As always, we’ll keep an eye on how the changes perform and adapt.” Read the tweet.
Reyna’s Flash performs poorly as a selfish penetration-tool, especially at higher skill levels. This set of changes is intended to give Reyna more agency in how she decides to peek after Lear is cast. In addition, it should sharpen the Lear as a powerful angle-breaking tool against operators on maps with a long line of sight. We have also realized that individual casts of the eye remain in the world for a very long time when the eye is not destroyed. If Reyna is now capable of making more selfish plays than her Lear, we wanted to reduce some of her value when thrown to teammates.
Wind-up of myopia effect .6s to .4s. increased to
border restriction removed
Nearsight unequipment delay reduced: reduced to 7.5 . happened
myopia uneven delay set to “immediate”
Duration decreased to 2.6s >>> 2.0s
Riot intends to balance his ability to throw the Flash during Yurou’s final match. Being a ‘difficult agent’, Riott opts to go with a simple duration increase for Blindside as he feels that turning counterplay around his Flash and clones is crucial to avoid overly frustrating situations.
Blindside (Q) duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 1.75 seconds
PBE fracture changes
Dataminer and leaker Floxay gave Valorant fans a glimpse of the modified map currently live on PBE servers. The video demonstrates that Riot has significantly reworked the A site satellite, A drop and A rope, as well as adding a ramp outside the B site. The satellite dish appears to be no longer there, and instead, it has been moved further to allow players to pass through. B The arcade side of the entrance is opened with some boxes. In addition, there is a ramp replacing the previously existing stairs, just behind the radiantite boxes at site B.

Valorant Patch 5.07 PBE Visual Update
3P views for flashed enemies and allies now render the back of the player’s head the moment the flash begins to fade. This should give a clear indication if the players are flashing all the way through or if the flash has started to fade.
1P scenes when fully flashed now shrink overtime to give a better indication of when the full flash will end and the flash will begin to fade.
The window has been extended to provide assists on Flash, Nearsight and Consume from 1 to 3 seconds after the debuff has faded.
The developers realized that the help window on these debuffs did not reflect the actual duration of their impact, and wanted to ensure that support players are more often recognized and rewarded for setting up positions that their teammates nailed. .
Riot’s Valorant team has also reduced the size of the hologram on the body marker that is visible when the bodies are closed.
