
The company announced Tuesday that Sony Interactive Entertainment will release new gray camouflage versions of the DualSense wireless controller, PlayStation 5 console cover, and Pulse 3D wireless headset. It’s apparently time to hit the modern military shooter’s October release as well. call of Duty Modern Warfare 2The new gray camouflage pattern design will serve primarily as a vector, to make jokes about how you can’t find your DualSense controller (because it’s camouflage, you see).
For owners who don’t mind the aesthetics of the standard white PlayStation 5 design or otherwise clashing with one’s interior design, the gray camouflage console cover will provide your spouse, partner or roommate the opportunity to comment something like, ” Worry, you’ll never have to see that ugly PS5 again [winky face]It’s definitely in terms of camouflage design, which will really only work if you’re hunting for deer in the woods while playing your PlayStation 5.
Pre-orders for Sony’s Gray Camouflage collection for the PS5 will begin on September 15. The DualSense controller and PS5 console cover will launch on October 14. The Pulse 3D wireless headset will launch sometime in December. Sony didn’t announce pricing, but the colored DualSense controllers retail for $74.99 — a $5 premium over standard white or black PS5 controllers — and existing console covers go for $54.99. The current model of the Pulse 3D Wireless Headset costs $99.99.

The Gray Camouflage Collection follows a similar pattern to the popular release on PlayStation 4. During the life cycle of that console, Sony released DualShock 4 controllers in at least four camouflage colors: green, blue, red, and gray.
Sony began selling colored console covers for the PS5 in January, letting current-gen console owners replace the standard white cover with Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, and Galactic Purple options. Sony also released DualSense controllers to match.
