The team is likely to be rebuilt anew for the next DPC season.
Long before the Dota 2 post-TI roster shuffle season begins, Nigma Galaxy SEA has published a tweet saying that it has decided to let go of its full Dota 2 roster. This sudden change effectively made the remaining four team members free agents. The players who were released are midlaner Vincent “Alacrity” Hugh Tek Yung, offlaner Hugh Tek Yung, Galvin “Mizu” Kang, and support players Anurat “Bumbui” Priyanun and Trai “Zhokam” Kunkoro.
The organization made the decision after their Dota 2 SEA team failed to qualify for The International 11 after some disappointing first results. Following its decision, Nigma Galaxy posted on its Twitter saying, “Today we bid farewell to our #NGXdota SEA roster.” Regarding the players released, it said, “We would like to thank Boobui,
@AlaCity97, @Meracleeeeee and @jhocamtri for their work and best wishes for their future.
today we say goodbye #ngxdota Sea Rooster.

As Southeast Asia becomes more competitive, with Nigma Galaxy SEA failing to stay competitive with other teams in the region, things seem to get worse over time.
During the opening phase of the Dota Professional Circuit (DPC) 2021–22 season, the Nigma Galaxy SEA team played very competitively and showed good prospects. He defeated Fnatic to win the Tier 2 tournament BTS Professional Collection S7: SEA. Thereafter, they finished second for DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division 2 and qualified for Division 1.
It was expected that the team would win more matches in the SEA region from that point on, but they finished 5th and 7th in Division 1 of the DPC SEA 2021/2022 Tours 2 and 3. It was the beginning of a disastrous end for the team. ,
After finishing 7th in the upper division of the DPC Tour 3, they were demoted to the lower division. Although some matches were close, the results were unsatisfactory for the team management. The mediocre results led to the release of Muhammad “In YourDream” Rizki on July 26.
Although Nigma replaced with Wilson “Polosan” Koh at Yourdream, he made a major mistake in the process of player registration for the TI11 SEA Qualifiers. He submitted the changes to the site seven hours after the deadline to transfer players. This hiccup meant the team had to play with YourdreaM instead of Polosan in the TI11 qualifiers.
The move did not go down well with the team and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere. In the upper bracket of the TI11 qualifiers, the team lost 2–0 to eventual lower bracket finalists Polaris Esports. Both matches took less than 40 minutes, and NGX.SEA was completely ineffective.
The team also lost their first LB match to XERXIA 1-2, which effectively ended their hopes of reaching TI. Losing the slot at TI11 as well as some embarrassing performances could be the reason for the release of the entire roster.
While Inyodream has already found a new home in Army Genius, the fate of the rest of the players remains uncertain as they become free agents. They may have to wait some time to be selected for the new teams as TI11 will start soon, and the roster reshuffle will not start before November.
Nigma Galaxy SEA will monitor the performance of SEA players at TI11 to decide which players it can acquire to select the roster for DPC 2022/23. This time, he has to be more careful with his player selection as all eyes are on the organization in the region after the sudden release of his entire team.
