
The official website of the Mushikaburi-Hime (Bibliophile’s Princess.) television anime unveiled additional cast, crew and the first promotional video on Monday. The anime is scheduled to air on October 6th at 9:00 p.m. AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, Kansai TV and BS NTV.

Voice actress and singer Yuka Iguchi (of Dungeon ni Dei Wo Motomeru no wa Machigeteiru Darou) is performing the opening theme “Prologue”, which is previewed in the promotional video below. Kashitarou Itou (Deca-Dence) is performing the final theme “Kawa Byoshi”.
Tarou Iwasaki (Amama to Inazuma) directs the anime at Madhouse. Mitsutaka Hirota (Kanojo, Okarisimasu) is handling the creation of the series, and Mizuka Takahashi (Kimi no Koe wo Todoketai sub-character design) is designing the characters.
The anime adapts Yui’s historical drama series, which launched in September 2015 on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website. Ichijinsha began publishing the novel the following July through its Iris NEO imprint, which included illustrations by Satsuki Shiyana. The sixth volume shipped on 2 February.
