The open beta for Multiverse will begin on July 26, the open beta early access period beginning on Tuesday, July 19, Player First Games and Warner Bros. Games announced Thursday.

Finally, the time has come for all those who want to play Multiverse because once the open beta opens, Player First Games has confirmed that there’s no end date in sight.
Beginning with the open beta, Multiverse will continue to be updated with new characters, maps, seasonal content, and more in the coming months.
Additionally, all player progress and unlocks earned during the Multiverse Open Beta will advance through the life of the game.
MultiVersus Open Beta will release for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam) on July 26 at 12PM ET with full cross-play and cross-progress support across all platforms .
For those who were able to try the game out during its closed alpha, the headliner for the open beta in terms of new content is The Iron Giant character, which will be playable for the first time when Early Access begins July 19th at 12PM. ET.

The early access portion of the open beta will be the opening play for those participating in the closed alpha, as well as those who have gained entry through Twitch Drops.
Those who have played Closed Alpha on PC will be guaranteed entry into the Open Beta Early Access period and will receive a code via email when Early Access begins redeeming on their platform of choice.
Those participating in Closed Alpha on console will have the game automatically updated and ready to download to their game library.
