Gizmo is the latest addition to the game. Multiverse draws characters from many different media franchises, so who is that? Gizmo is one of the main characters in the 80s movie Gremlins. These are crazy creatures that come with some very specific rules. You have to avoid eating or getting them wet after midnight, or they will turn into real monsters.
MultiVersus Gizmo Gameplay Guide
Gizmo is coming to MultiVersus as a support character. Some of these are already in the game, but they have a distinctive play style. You are mainly going to support the other player on your team. For 1-v-1, the support characters don’t have as much utility. They rank lower in the multiverse tier lists. However, if you’re playing 2-v-2 there’s a lot you can do here.
MultiVersus Gizmo moves involve a fair amount of projectiles, including his neutral bow attack. A major part of their kit is that you can ignite projectiles. There is also a big focus on collaboration. With Gizmo, you can ride on your teammate and turn into a different type of player with both shields and two types of attack.
Some of the more support-based moves include those that give opponents a musical fondness. It can prevent cooldown. Such moves are best used when you can coordinate them with another player. This will let you make the most of it and actually punish the enemy player.
Another big factor for Gizmo is its hitbox. He is on the younger side of the characters. Between his speed and this, you can find it very hard to hit if you’re making the most of it.

standard attack
hunter’s bow
With this move Gizmo has pulled out a bow and arrow. You can shoot arrows. However, you can also charge it to set it on fire. As soon as you are charging, you can go ahead and jump. When you kill an enemy, your arrow stock is returned.
3-step
This is a neutral standard attack. It’s a simple combo using a punch, then a headbutt, and a drop kick. This is similar to the standard combinations of most characters. Although Gizmo’s Hitbox is worth keeping in mind. She is on the short side so you have to stay close to get the most out of it.
furry fist
This is an upward punch attack. You charge a punch and jump to strike an enemy. This is a move that will be familiar to fighting game players from many franchises, it is quite common.

In this move Gizmo charges up the attack with a keyboard. Then he will slam and break the armor. It will also send musical notes from Gizmo. If you charge it longer, the notes will last.
stompy feet
This is another charge-up for Gizmo. You charge your feet before hitting the ground a few times.

This attack has Gizmo sing which creates the musical note. They inflict musical effects as well as deal damage to enemies in the form of projectiles. Allies get a buff. Enemies get negative musical effect.
This can also work well with your teammates if they are also using projectiles. A projectile that goes through a musical note will draw the note, hitting the opponent and applying a hitston.
Flying Mogwai Song
This is the attack version that takes place in the air. It’s a little different. These notes will target enemies that are ahead of you, rather than how they move in the basic version. This is a nice change. Keep that in mind when you’re throwing this attack, as there are two versions of the move to the MultiVersus Gizmo.
beep beep
This is a ground-side special from Gizmo. It’s very similar to Wario’s motorbike over in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Mogwai takes out a toy car and drives it around. It can knock players to the ground, similar to Morty’s brush attack. You can jump in or out.
When you get out of the car, it will continue to move along the ground with the momentum built up. This can force an opponent to escape. It can even knock off an edge if you use the right one. Driving the car when both players are under pressure can give you even more stage control when attacking, while the projectiles take care of the ground while zoning. His car can also be used to speed up and then fly with the Up Special.
If the car remains on the platform, Gizmo can jump back and use it. It is very useful. You have to manage it as a resource though. This isn’t one of the MultiVersus gizmo tricks you can spam.
umbrella bash
While up in the air, you have a different set of moves. Use Umbrella Bash for side attacks in the air. From this you have taken out an umbrella. You dash over the edge and hit any opponents caught in the trick.
It will damage opponents when you connect. However, it will also block and knockback projectiles. This makes for a helpful shield if you’re dealing with a projectile spammer. Since Gizmo moves in that direction as well, it can help your recovery if you use it properly.
You can also hold down the button for this move to put the umbrella out after the initial dash. This will allow the Gizmo to slide back up. This maneuverability is a key part of how Gizmo plays, if you can avoid the spikes it makes recovery a lot easier.
Gizmo-A-Go-Go
This is one of the big support moves for MultiVersus Gizmo. If you remove it while standing behind an opponent, you get on their back. Once on their back, you can clear any buffs or effects piled on the character. You can still use some of your attacks. Like a neutral bow.
As well as clearing out amateurs, Gizmo will also have something of a shield. You’ll share any damage, so nothing hits the other character as hard. You can also use some shielding moves to directly prevent your partner from taking harm.
You can also use moves on enemies. You won’t jump on someone’s back, but you’ll do some damage if you manage to connect during the jump.
corrugated camouflage
This is a down special from MultiVersus Gizmo, it is a defensive move. You take out a toybox and jump inside. It blocks attacks while you are inside. This is a great move to prevent projectile damage but it still allows for melee attacks.
This is not the most complicated step. It can act as protection when needed. This can be especially useful if you have been insecure without your partner for a while. Provided you are quick to avoid melee attacks.
If you use this move on an opponent’s back, it’s different. You can’t fit both in the toybox! In this case, you would take out an umbrella instead. On the backs of enemies, it’s still very useful. This is a one-of-a-kind attempt to be a tortoise! This projectile stops the fire. This forces the enemies to engage in melee combat. If your teammate is one of the better brawlers, this can force opponents to fight on your terms.
Falling Furball
The Falling Furball Toybox is another replacement for the trick. This is a down move when you are in the air. This is a ground-pound style slam down.
When you activate it, you will move downwards and do damage to anyone who lives below. If you can hit, you’ll bounce up a bit. remember this. Even when you step back a bit, it’s a risky move for an off-stage spike here. However, Gizmo has a good recovery in emergencies.
listening time – passive effect
This is a passive effect for Gizmo. It is related to the state of the music that his attacks take place. This is another unique fondue. It comes straight from those projective musical notes, which makes a lot of his moves give you a few different strategies for taking it. This is a major part of the MultiVersus Gizmo trick.

Those are all perks. There are some great picks, but which one is right depends on your playing style. Some focus on buffs when you’re on the enemy’s back which will be useful to some players.
