Daytonation FM will face Royal Never Give Up at Bo5 to qualify for the Worlds 2022 Main Event. As LL Worlds 2022 kicks off, the DFM will have to fight for the fight of its life against RNG as the Chinese team has been known to lose only BO5 to the world champions.
Loud Vs Detonation FM 1
A very close game awarded the CBLOL representative his first win. The strong lane presence and the decisive battle for supremacy over the jungle lovers impressed the crowd. Robo’s atrox used smart plays to turn the tide, and any strategy the DFM initially relentlessly moved until they saw the turret fall. The two teams traded until a one-on-one victorious clash was due to strong sets by LLL. Miss Fortune’s zoning ability and strong scalping made Japan’s top seed hesitant in her approach, and Loud used every opportunity to make her way to victory.

Loud Vs Detonation FM 2
Game 2 had a tense team fight for the DFM, and a brilliant flank by LLL almost cost them another game. Kroc’s Hekarim had better control over the jungle opening game, allowing him to ambush the middle lane, while LLL took early game control on the lower lane. Hesitation on the part of CBLOL to resign the first Dragon to Detonation was the beginning of the end. Yahrong’s smart plays saw his team take an early gold advantage while he escaped several enemy gangs. LLL strategically traded turrets and made a map appearance for the Rift Herald in midgame. Kroc and Robo made sure to penalize any progress on the bottom lane by winning the team fight, but Yaharong’s smart counters kept his team from setting up a successful combo against Tinoun’s Gallio in team engagements. The 2000 gold lead gave the DFM a substantial advantage at 22 minutes to nearly win the fight, but Robo’s large brain teleport flank combined with Gallio’s “Hero Entrance” largely stalled the DFM’s momentum. The Brazilian team focused careful selection to avoid another snowball and played it quiet before stepping on the gas after Baron’s play. Loud’s slow but sure climb back to an even kill score almost worked, but plays desperate to steal the Baron sent LL’s hard hitters back into the fountain. A wrong move in the midgame caused the DFM to bounce back, giving them the win.
- Teams: LLL 1 – 1 DFM
- Time: 31:28
- Kills: 16 – 6
- Turret: 11 – 3
- Gold: 63.3k – 50.9k

Loud Vs Detonation FM 3
A strong counter winner by the DFM helped them handle the LL’s disastrous plays as Game 3 struggles relentlessly between play-in qualifiers. The DFM practiced more restraint in their play, but Loud’s continued aggression rewarded them with more hitting early game. Despite this, Tinown’s strong control over the middle lane made him a problem for the Japanese team. Loud’s split team was able to stop the DFM and capture the dragons at the same time, but Yaharong’s smart map controls with Taliah allowed Japan’s #1 seed to destroy the turret and take the Rift in midgame. The extremely erratic powerplay saw LLL win the third Dragon. These maneuvers allowed him to gather strength for an uncontested Baron Tech, but the less used buffs by Loud’s MVP caused him to lose a crucial battle, and Detonation’s brute force push led Utapon down the middle lane. Took them to the blocker.
- Teams: LLL 1 – 2 DFM
- Time: 29:13
- Kills: 13 – 16
- Turret: 3 – 7
- Gold: 50.6k – 53.4k
- Dragons: 4 – 1
- Barons: 1 – 0

Detonation FM vs Loud Game 4
It was do or die for the representatives of CBOL and all eyes were on them. LLL went with an Ezreal/Leona bottom comp, while Yarong’s pick gave him a loss trade advantage over LLL’s Gallio. The match held steady until Level 6, when it saw its first kill in a top lane trade. The DFM took the lead when they adopted a more combative playing style. Despite the close call, Japan won a risky bout for the Herald. LLL players were quick to react at the top but the detonation quickly adapted, and retreated when necessary. Yaharong dominated the top lane against Tower Dive as his team took the dragon. A smart use of resources and time saw the DFM dominate the midgame. Loud’s mid lane tower dives were punished by Yarong, who kept the snowballs rolling. Loud was in a 3–13 deficit as they gradually lost the qualifier game. Despite the loss, Loud still won the hearts and cheers of his fans, giving the crowd 4 incredible matches that were impressive for such a young e-sports roster.

- Kills: 6 – 17
- Turret: 2 – 9
- Gold: 40.0k – 53.0k
