Excel Esports vs Astralis – LEC Super Week
Every game is an important game on the last day of the season. For XL, they had to win to secure the playoffs, while AST were already out. XL certainly started the game like a team that needed a win, taking the lead in the opening game. He maintained that lead in the middle game with AST almost going through the motions. XL never really looked in trouble as they pulled off an easy win in the end. As for the XL, they will now have to wait for other results to find out if they will be able to make the playoffs.

MAD Lions vs Team BDS – LEC Super Week
With MAD looking to secure their spot at the top of the LEC, BDS was once again out to play spoilers. MAD never really looked like giving up on the game, slowly taking its time to flesh out BDS. It took them just over 35 minutes to get the win but they won. This puts MAD in first place, only G2 is now able to challenge them.

SK Gaming vs G2 Esports – LEC Super Week
SK already out of playoff contention, it was about whether G2 can claim victory to challenge MAD. G2 made the first 15 minutes a bit awkward, but they managed to pull it back during the middle game. By the 30-minute mark, G2 were on their way to victory as SK. G2 won and claimed the top spot due to their one-off record.

Team Vitality vs Rogue – LEC Super Week
RGE needed a win to challenge MAD for second place. VIT, on the other hand, needed a win to make it to the playoffs. RGE always looked to be on strong top in the game, and while VIT remained close throughout the game, RGE had the lead in the late game. They had better map control in typical RGE fashion, and this was giving them the edge. RGE kept it up and won in the end. The VIT loss means they need to keep an eye on what FNC does in the next game before deciding their fate.

Misfits Gaming Vs Fnatic – LEC Super Week
Playoff decider for several teams. FNC needed a win to secure the playoffs, while MSF needed a win to consolidate their seeding in the LEC table. A surprisingly tight match as both teams seemed to be fighting for their LEC lives. By the 22-minute mark, even gold was starting to show pressure. MSF tried to keep FNC away in the late game but FNC had a lot going for them. The win locks in the playoffs for FNC, while it turns the futures of VIT and XL into a final decider.

Team Vitality vs Excel Esports – LEC Super Week Playoff Decisive
It is on the final game of the regular division for these two sides. Only one can make it to the playoffs because we are in a tense situation. The game was as tight as expected, with XL barely holding a 2k lead by the 23-minute mark. With the game so finely crafted, it was a play for anyone. While VIT could have been a super team, it shouldn’t have been when it mattered to them. Wins for the XL pushed them into the playoffs and with a shot at Worlds. As far as VIT is concerned, it is not a very good end of the year as their dream of the world is over. Maybe it’s time to admit that super teams don’t work?
