Rogue Vs BDS – Lec Super Week
RGE needed a win to maintain their push towards the top of the table. For BDS, it was little more than pride on the line. The start of the game was a bit bad, although RGE always looked a bit ahead. By the middle of the game the BDS had begun to advance, although the game remained tight. BDS once again manages to maintain the lead by taking down RGE. The loss puts pressure on RGE as they claim the top spot in the LEC.

Excel Esports vs SK Gaming LEC Super Week
A big game for both sides in the race for the playoffs. Both sat at 7-9, a win would be a big deal to secure their spot. The whole game was as intense as you’d expect, although the XL always had something else going on. Than held true till the end, when XL managed to secure a massive victory. It’s back to the drawing board for SK, who has just one more shot.

Astralis vs MAD Lions – LEC Super Week
With MAD having an eye on the top spot, AST needed to bring the heat. With the playoffs away from AST guaranteed, they need to put the pressure on MAD. In the early to middle game, neither side got a big advantage in the beginning. Importantly for AST, they began to advance late in the game as MAD felt the pressure. By far the longest game of the day, and it was too hard to call late. Eventually, however, MAD won the game and took a massive victory towards the LEC top spot. As far as AST is concerned, it is under pressure ahead of their final match tomorrow.

Vitality vs Fnatic – LEC Super Week
A win for VIT would secure their place in the playoffs; for FNC, they needed this win. FNC got into trouble at Super Week but yesterday’s win might have saved their embarrassment. Another long game, but it was FNC that saw the most chances of winning it, always maintaining a slim lead. As it came to the post-30-minute period, that small lead became less impressive as VIT rebounded. The game went past the 50-minute mark, and at that stage, it looked like FNC might win. With the upset almost entirely involving his team. FNC managed to do so as they claimed a massive victory on their way to securing the playoffs.

G2 Esports v Misfits Gaming – LEC Super Week
With both sides going 10-6 in the game, it was the match that could decide the fate of the playoffs. G2 looked on top during the early and mid games, with MSF struggling to hold on. It was a textbook G2 late split recovery as they set their sights on top of the LEC. With a Baron’s claim, G2 advanced to the MAD base one last time. The win meant that G2 had secured their place at the Worlds with just one day left in the Summer Split. It also means that G2 is the first team in the world to enter their world spot.
