5/ Mario and Peach
This is the best known example, impossible not to start our ranking with video game’s greatest couple. Mario has been saving Peach’s life for decades through all video game genres. Even if in fact, their romantic relationship has not been highlighted. Without forgetting that in Mario Odyssey, Peach embraces modernity by making Mario (and Bowser) understand that she wants to be at peace! Undoubtedly the most worthy representatives of love under the aegis of video games.
4/ Nathan and Elena (Uncharted)
It was over the episodes of the franchise that the couple Nathan and Elena began to form until they lived together in Uncharted 4. Nero and Kyrie represent pure love. In Devil May Cry, the demon-armed protagonist sets out to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend. A journey to save the love of his life! The couple even settle in together while a prequel book unveils that the duo run an orphanage for young people in need. A relationship that is interesting and exciting to say the least in comparison with other characters in the Capcom franchise.
1/ Yuri and Alice (Shadow Hearts)
For our number couple, make way for a lesser-known game called Shadow Hearts. This title depicts the love between Yuri and Alice, one of the most appreciated by players. A tragic story since Alice wants to save Yuri’s life against the curse of the Four Masks. But as the duo return home to start a life together, she is killed by this curse. This sad fate marked the players who had the opportunity to get their hands on this JRPG from the PlayStation.
