Gatomon is a cute, little Digimon. Don’t fall for its looks and size, though Gatomon is the best all-rounder you can befriend in Digimon Survive. It has some great digitization paths along with great statistics. Even though you’ll have a variety of Digimon to consider, missing out on recruiting Gatomon in Digimon Survive can be a very serious mistake because this creature can bring balance to your team.
How to Recruit and Befriend Gatomon
You can befriend Gatomon only after getting into Part 4 of the main story. This cute little Gatoman will appear in the free battle zone of the amusement park. There are also many other Digimon to find in the area like Diatrimon and Bardramon. You have to fight him before you can answer his questions and befriend him.
The process of befriending and recruiting Gatomon is more or less the same as for other Digimon. All you have to do is answer a few questions during a fight and if your answers are to Gatomon’s liking, you’ll befriend him.
There is a band over the creature which fills up as soon as it answers its questions. Every question fills the bar differently. So you have to fill it at least 50% so that the creature can be friends with you. The more times it is filled, the higher the chances of befriending Digimon.
It’s the same with Gatomon in Digimon Survive. Gatomon will ask you a series of questions (which are given below) and you will have to answer them. You will have four options out of which you have to select one. If you choose the right option, the bar will fill up quite a bit.

Question 5. ‘Hey, what kind of food do you like?’
A: ‘Vegetables all the way.’
Q6: ‘What will the next Whatddaya be a good joke?’
A: ‘Pranks are bad.’
Question 7. ‘Don’t you think every day is so boring?’
A: ‘I’m too busy to live.’
Once you answer all of these correctly and your success rate is high, you can finally befriend Gatomon and take it with you on your future adventures in Digimon Survive.
