You can’t get cattle products right away. Instead, you must first complete the Wasteland DLC. This DLC requires you to work alongside both the Foundation’s settlers and the Crater’s Raiders as you break into Vault 79 to access Gold Bullion and establish a new currency to use for the Wasteland.
After completing the DLC, you will gain access to Gold Bullion vendors in both the Foundation and the Crater. You can buy plans for cattle products from Samuel at the Foundation. He can be found leaning against the sign behind the foundation near the lift. Before you can purchase this item, you need to have at least a reputation of Vigilant with the Settlers faction. It will also cost you 250 gold bullion. Having produced its first cattle product, it will also be unlocked as a great prize from public events.

How to prepare cattle products
Like most specialty weapons, you’ll need to craft a cattle product. This can be done in any weapon workbench in the Wasteland. To prepare cattle products you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 adhesive
- 1 aluminum
- 2 circuitry
- 2 Legendary Modules
- 2 plastic
- 2 rubber
- 2 springs
- 4 steel
Since the Cattle Product requires a legendary module to craft, it will always come across as a legendary weapon with at least one mythical influence. You can cast three legendary effects to this weapon at once.
