The Evolution tournament series has been the Super Bowl for fighting games since its inception. Due to the pandemic, EVO went on a hiatus, but it’s finally back with new management after it was bought by PlayStation earlier this year. There are different fighting games in EVO 2022, each with different prize pools. This guide will explain how big is the prize pool of each game in EVO 2022.
How much is the EVO 2022 Prize Pool
EVO 2022 has a prize pool that can vary depending on how many entrants a particular game receives. Each entrant must pay a $10 entry fee, which goes to winnings. EVO 2022 will pay out the top eight competitors in the pay tiers based on overall placements.

The WB’s latest platform fighter, Multiverse, is the only game at this year’s EVO with a set prize pool. The multiverse prize pool is set at $100,000, which is raised by each player entering the tournament. Since EVO will be a multiverse two versus two event, the prize pool should increase significantly by the time it is over. The winning team will split the grand prize money, which will not be less than $42,000.
