Gran Turismo 7 welcomes the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette, the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder and the Porsche 918 Spyder in its new content update, available tomorrow.
The month of July is slowly but surely coming to an end, and it is therefore time for Gran Turismo 7 to unveil the content of its new monthly update. On the program, there will be three new cars and two new sites for the Scape mode, but no new layout.
Gran Turismo 7 in the footsteps of its ancestors
The first choice of this update should appeal to purists and other old timers – the Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette is straight from Gran Turismo 2, and had not returned to the franchise since this second PS1 episode. Emblematic of the Super Silhouette races of Fuji’s Grand Championship Series in the early 80s, this racing car immediately stands out from the other arrivals with its sleek lines and its engine with a maximum power of 7600rpm. Another trip back in time, this one much further back, with the Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder, one of the Italian manufacturer’s most elegant models of the 1950s. Finally, the Porsche 918 Spyder is the new hybrid supercar to join the catalog of Gran Turismo 7.
As usual with content updates for Gran Turismo 7, this new update adds two new sites for Scape mode, allowing you to photograph your favorite cars in a myriad of different environments. The July selection adds two new rentals — including the first to be entirely dummy. This is Tomica Town, a replica of a small town while modeling, featuring the different models and miniatures of the famous toy brand Tomica.
