Wonder why Saber Interactive’s Evil Dead: The Game just keeps getting better. A new “Army of Darkness” update is now out for free, taking players to the new map of Castle Kandahar, along with two new weapons, new premium cosmetics, and an interesting single-player exploration mode.
For fans of the movie franchise, the Army of Darkness map will bring back a lot of memories. From Castle Kandar to other locations like the Windmill, Arthurian Outpost, Fort Gort and Castle Kandar Keep, there’s plenty in your game to either survive or try to finish it.
The new exploration mode is perfect if you want to experience any of the game’s maps without the stress. Free roam the vast spaces to better understand the different maps, and you might even hit a deadite or two in the head.
The Evil Dead: Game Update adds the slow and powerful mace and explosive crossbow to players’ arsenals, providing more options as well from afar.
As for cosmetics, there are two new Ash outfits to buy: the S-Mart employee outfit and the Gallant Night outfit that go for $2.99 each. For those looking for more, the Medieval bundle, which includes Henry the Red’s Scottish vibe outfit, Lord Arthur’s battle prep outfit, and the gilded attire costume pack for the Necromancer Demon Army, is $7.99 or as part of Season Pass 1 is available.
