And just like that, it’s spring forza horizon 5, But while we’re at the end of the goodies for Series 10 of Forza Horizon 5’s Festival Playlist Weekly Challenges, that doesn’t mean things get any less exciting. If you want to complete the latest challenges and take home the best prizes, you need the fastest cars and great tunes – and that’s where we come in.
Series 10 – Spring of the Forza Horizon 5 Festival playlist includes the usual premise – trials, seasonal championships, a photo challenge and insanely fun PR stunts.
Part 1: #Forzathon Weekly Challenge – Courageous Innovation
So, for the last time this current season (see what I did there?) we need to get in an EV (electric vehicle) and do stuff.
Candidate this week is the 2020 Lotus Aviza, and this week you will have to buy it, if you don’t already have it. It’s on sale at the Forzathon Shop for just 100 Forza Points, so it might be the cheapest option. Otherwise I’m afraid it’s Autoshow, where it will set you back a whopping 2,500,000 credits. Ouch.
Chapter 1 – Featherweight
However you get it, log in to your Eviza and play it. Phase one completed.
Chapter 2 – Pure Adrenaline
Now we really need to open the tap and see what this car can do. We need to hit 200mph in the Dunas Blancas area of the map, just to the left.
Find a straight road and nail it!
Oh, and take a photo while you’re there to complete this week’s photo challenge, too.
Chapter 3 – Revolutionary Leap
Of all the things that low-incline, all-electric sports car can be said to do, I have a feeling the designers didn’t think tossing it into the air would be one of them.
Those sand dunes seem ideal for catching some wind when we’re in the Dunas Blancas area, so start rolling your car around. What could be worse than that? (Ask Richard Hammond!)
Chapter 4 – Creative Language
The final stage in the weekly challenge is to win the street race in your shiny electric mobile. Pick your favorite and rip it.
And with victory comes perfection, because this week’s challenge has come to an end.
Part 2 – Weekly Challenges
A dash from The Trial, a pinch of The Eliminator and a dollop from EventLab – these are the ingredients that make up the driving force of this week’s challenges.
The Trial – Sooper Troopers
This week, we’ll have to take a bunch of randoms off the interwebs, and join them on a racing team to create the unbeatable Driverbots Quake. Well, that’s the theory, anyway.
We are tasked with winning two out of three races, in Modern Supercars, limited to the S1 Class 900. Modern Supercar Just Screams Lamborghini (And Whispers Ferrari) So It’s A McLaren 570S I’ll Take, Share Code Is 179 226 463.
The reward for coming up? A lambo. A Huracan Performante, to be exact.
eventlab – Presents GT Denny Car Lot Head to Head
My favorite type of event is revisited this week, and this time we need some slow cars, really any B Class 700 vehicles.
With the event clearly being a drag event (not high heels, but driving in a straight line) I went with a faster car, the BMW M3 E34, from 1991. However, adding to this, it appears that the designer has some kind of attack and the course is about three minutes of nonsense. The share of Beamer that still won: 136256627.
Your prize for keeping up with this crap is a doodle pattern cap. Just what I – and no doubt, you – have always wanted.
Horizon Arcade – Mini Games
Another season, another chance to play the Horizon mini game. Just look for the pink circles on the map, drive there in a suitable car (don’t rock up to the speed event in a Class D Willys Jeep, for example) and complete three rounds to take home the prize.
I personally prefer the drift round, as the Formula Drift Supra can easily complete all three rounds alone, but if you involve more people, it takes less time.
Danger Sign – Desert Dunes
Now that might be interesting, a danger sign, an S1 class 900 car, and a distance of over 340m required to complete.
Since the run up is largely off-road, I went with a somewhat left field choice, a highly tuned Volkswagen Class 5 Baja Bug, slightly tuned to share code: 683276916. Smashed the target in the first attempt.
The prize for flying in the air is super wheelspin.
Speed Zone – Costa Rocosa
A little more quiet this week for the Speed Zone challenge, a B Class 700 car needs to get through the zone with an average speed of just over the 85 mph needed to win.
Given the dangerous run-up conditions, I went with an off-road tuned Alumni Craft Class 10 race car with the stock code: 401432454. It is able to rip turns quite successfully, taking an approach from the south. Make it easy.
By winning it you will purge the number 6, one of the remaining Xtreme-E cars. Fast name, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Seasonal Championship – Extreme E Desert Prix I
Ah, the weekly invitation to pick up the Xtreme-E car, kick it well around a few circuits, and then win the big prize.
As I said in previous weeks, the No. 44 X.44 car has worked well, and I see no reason why it wouldn’t do the same in both this series and the next. Share code for me is: 164790581.
By winning this championship you will achieve Extreme-E No. 125. And hopefully it should be a complete set.
Seasonal Championship – Extreme E Desert Prix II
Same car, same stuff, different place.
Win through the championship, either alone or in a convoy (in a convoy is really easy because you only need to win two out of three races) and stay in the same X.44 car as before, and it Everything should be gravy.
Once you win a Netty Red Extreme-E Race Suit will be yours.
Seasonal Championship – Battery Included
Another championship, another chance to try out EVs in race conditions.
To be honest, I’d be tempted to stay in my Lotus Aviza, especially because it’s an S2 Class 998 car straight out of the box (okay, it’s a 994, but you catch my drift).
Winning you will probably get the worst prize ever, an Infiniti Q60. erm, yes?
Part 3 – Other Challenges
Treasure hunting, taking pictures, hiding in the bushes – this week’s extra challenge section has it all.
Photo Challenge – #DESERTRUNNER
If you’ve followed my advice from the top of the article (and if not, why not, hmm?) it should be complete. If not, take the Lotus Aviza to Dunas Blancas and leave.
Extra points for an aerial action shot, eh?
I’ll upload my attempts and locations below, and for your trouble, you too can “applause” the car horn.

Treasure Hunt – Hot and Sandy
This week the clue reads “EV’s fire through the sand and provide a Gold Star rated service”. So, somewhere sandy, and somewhere with a PR stunt nearby.
There’s a lot of potential to be honest, but by the process of elimination I worked out it meant the “sand and salvage” trailblazers in the Dunas Blancas area.
Getting one star is enough, and I did it effortlessly in Eviza when I was there for the Speed and Photo Challenge.
I’ll include a photo of where the treasure is below. There is 100FP involved, so you’ll need to buy a Lotus Aviza before doing this. just a thought…

Eliminator – Battle Royale
Ah, the Eliminator, my old enemy. Hide, drive, run, and make your way into the top 30, by hook or by crook, to complete this week’s challenge.
Reward for doing so? Doodle Classic Shades. Totally worth the effort, if you ask me…
Part 4 – Hot Wheels Events
As is now standard, hot wheels brand The latest Forza Horizon 5 challenges feature a slew of features. You’ll need to reach the Elite level in the DLC to do this, so if you haven’t yet, get racing!
Drift Zone – Ice Cauldron
The drift zone at Hot Wheels Park is slightly different from those in terra firma, and camels can make a drift difficult. With only 130,000 points needed to win, I would recommend my weapon of choice for anything drift related – the Formula Drift Supra.
No upgrade, no mess, straight out of the box it was born to slide.
If you score more than the target value, you will get Super Wheelspin. Maybe you can win some shoes to go with your colors and hat, eh?
Seasonal Championship – Mini Sampler
This requires the services of an off road car in the B Class 700 range.
I went with the Ford Ranger T6 Rally Red Car, from an extremely limited set of options, stock code: 166960440.
Winning the championship with this car is challenging but very possible, just keep the pace as fast as you can.
The prize for winning this championship is another hat, this time a Hot Wheels one. Brilliant.
Remember, as this is the end of Series 10, you will want to complete two monthly rivalry events – the Tierra Prospera Circuit and the Forza EV Airfield Cross-Country Circuit.
Those points are also valuable. The Series 10 gives you the car prizes in the form of the N0.58 Extreme E for 80pts and the RAESR TS ’19 for 160pts. If you’ve been following our guide to Series 10 – Summer, Fall and Winter, you should already have more than enough points. This spring season adds a few more too – Porsche 911 ’90 for 20 points and Vox Carlton for 40 points.
Stay tuned as we cover new challenges in Series 11 and the coming weeks – it’s about Rami’s racing history including new collectibles, cars, speed zones and #Forzathon shop sales. We love a sale.
Forza Horizon 5 is playable via Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S or on PC xbox store, It’s also on Game Pass, while the Hot Wheels expansion will require the wallet to be opened.
