Fortnite’s summer event is here, with all the cosmetics and rewards you can get!
Fortnite’s annual summer event has just launched into the game. With Chapter 3 approaching the halfway point of Season 3, Fortnite No Sweat Summer is in full effect. The event features special quests for players to complete, loads of free cosmetics, and some fun changes to the game’s balance.
That’s how it’s all going to work and make sure you don’t miss anything this summer.

The Fortnite No Sweat Summer Event is the annual party for 2022. It seems to be the focus of this season’s theme. Each summer event brings new changes to the game with free cosmetics. No sweat The summer looks like it’s going to be a busy few weeks with a lot going on.

Fortnite No Sweat Summer Event brings new challenges and quests to the game. These are already active and players can start moving through them. You can find them in their own tab in the Fortnite Challenges section. Each of them rewards XP, so you can get that Battle Pass quickly. Players can also gain access to unique cosmetics by completing quests. These are free and exclusive to the event, in case you miss them, they’re gone for good.
Questlines vary from engaging with new content to hitting certain milestones. These are all the free cosmetics and rewards you’ll get for the No Sweat Summer Searchline.

The theme of the Fortnite No Sweat Summer event is based on the ‘No Sweat Insurance’ that has been a part of the game’s background. These searches are focused on the player doing some marketing stunts and other jobs for the no sweat insurance company. They have different awards for different stages. These are the cosmetics that you can get from these plots.

rebuild the block
All those No Sweat-specific questlines are coming, but this event is bringing a few more features to the game. One of the most exciting is going to be Block Returning. This is a new POI feature, but it also has a search line with its own cosmetics and discoveries. In this, players work together to rebuild parts of the Tilted Towers.
Players can vote during this contest to decide what will be built in the block’s open spaces. These are the main quests for this part of No Sweat Summer.
- Donate the bar to vote for building on the block.
- Survived the stages of the storm during the event (July 21 – August 9)
- Eliminate opponents during the event
The first round of voting is going to decide which building will end up in the restaurant slot. The second will cover the apartments, and the last will be the shops. Each of these contests is between three different creative mode builds that were entered into Rebuild the Block.
Once this discovery is made, we’ll have a slightly different POI on the map. However, in the last season, the block was not stable. While voting will decide the block for this season, we may see other buildings being added there in the future.
Completing all the quests to rebuild the block will give you even more free cosmetics. These are the ones you will unlock with this step!

Special Fortnite Crew Awards
Fortnite Crew members get a few bonuses each month, but they’re getting an extra treat with No Sweat Summer. Crew members will receive a cuddle style of ice cream back bling when they log in during the event.

The last part of the summer event is going to include some new and returning summer skins in store. All of them are themed summer, with new looks and completely new characters for the old skins.
Other changes without sweating heat release
There are a lot of discoveries and rewards in the No Sweat Summer event, but there are also some changes that Epic hasn’t quite explained! Some items have recently been thrown back into the game. These are some other changes in this update of Fortnite.
boogie bomb
Boogie Bomb is back in the game! This is a classic Fortnite item, it’s a grenade that makes everyone around it dance! These are fun for memes and can actually be used for strategic plays as well.
Ice Cream
Ice cream has been added to the game with Fortnite No Sweat Summer! They act like fish, you eat them for a special effect. These are found in coolers that are around the map. These are all the types and what they do:
- Lil’Whip Special Service – Basic ice cream restores your health and shield.
- guzzling ice cream – Supplements health over time.
- frozen ice cream cones – Adds some health and applies slippery ice effect
- ice cream cone – restores health
- spiced ice cream cone – Adds health and gives spicy speed.

The island has undergone some map changes with this recent update. It’s not a huge new POI, but there are some changes to what’s already here. The main one is the sanctuary and behind it the change in the ocean.

It has become a real party spot with more structures in the ocean. There are now barges and boats for the players.
Fireworks
A little fireworks show has been added to the game! These move repeatedly throughout the game. You just have to look up. This is a really fun novelty that is going to be a good easter egg. However, it can get annoying if it sticks around for the whole event!
Fortnite Last Summer Update – Epic’s Holiday
This is how the no sweat summer event is going to work. There’s a lot of content here, but it’s for a good reason. Epic is about to take its regular leave. This means that they will not provide any major updates for the next two weeks.
While we’re still waiting for the Dragon Ball Super crossover to bring Goku and Beerus into the game soon, we’ve probably got at least two more weeks to go before. Epic only takes a couple of vacations a year, so it’s hard to congratulate them on a break. Looks like No Sweat Summer is a complete enough update to keep everyone busy for the duration. If you want to grab every cosmetic in this skin, you will have to do a lot of searching.
