With this 3–1 win, C9 secured themselves a spot at Worlds 2022, while EG were dropped into the lower bracket.
Easy V C9 – Game 1
Both teams came into Game 1 with a scalping draft, so there wasn’t much action in the opening game. First Blood came after a mid gank from Inspired, but after taking First Herald, C9 responded with three kills. C9 were the more active team during the middle game when it came to kills and objectives, but at least EG had the advantage in the towers. The game came to a halt when C9 started the Baron for a fight. It worked out well for him as he scored four goals without any after a great engagement, and secured himself a 5k gold lead for Baron. With the Baron, C9 had a great 1-3-1 setup and put a lot of pressure on EG. Blabber then found a heavy tie on JoJo and C9 propelled their opponents in the ensuing fight to give themselves a 1-0 start in the series.

Easy V C9 – Game 2
Game 2 had a lot of momentum early in the game with C9 being aggressive across the map. EG tried to respond by getting some kill backs, but after the teams traded the first objectives, C9 had a lead of 1k gold. Despite Blaber’s massive opening game keeping C9 far ahead, a few mid-game mistakes gave EG their way back into the game. C9 had a great team fight around Drake to keep himself at soul point, but EG came back with a Baron after receiving 2 picks and then defending C9’s stealth attempt. With the Barons, EG almost equalized the gold gap between the teams. But just as EG was looking for hope with Danny, C9 found a great association with the teleporting Fudge. He got three kills which was enough to push him till the end. With this C9 were only one game ahead of a massive upset win.

Easy V C9 – Game 3
Third game of the series, first blood came in the mid lane for the third time and this time for C9. C9 also got the first herald, but EG was able to answer with Drake first. Neither pair of bot lanes were involved in action until the second Drake, where C9 chased down the opponent and Berserker’s Zirri got a triple kill. C9 extended their lead to over 2k but EG managed to keep the game close by securing Drax and placing themselves at cloud soul point. C9 tried to start Baron and turn one several times during the middle game and EG eventually punished him for it. They took the four kills, the baron and the spirit, and they twisted the gold lead.
EG tries to end the game with his Baron, and they run to the Nexus towers. But C9 put up a decent defense at this point and managed to defend their Nexus with an ace. With no other objective on the map yet, EG made another attempt to end the game, this time going much better as they won the fight and finally put a game on the scoreboard.

Easy V C9 – Game 4
For their second match point, C9 threw the gauntlet with an Olaf/Zillion draft. With his pocket pick, Blaber focused mostly on farming. EG was the team that went for the first two objectives, but managed to steal the first Drake after an unsuccessful smite from Blabber Inspired. At 18 minutes there was almost no action in the game except for objectives and Kills were tied 0–0. But it didn’t last long as there was a bloodbath for the third Drake fight. C9 won the fight and the objective, thanks to a quadra kill from Berserker’s Zeri. But EG found a correct answer by finding two picks on the C9 bot lane, creating a Baron take and a 3k gold lead for them.
In Soul Fight, Inspired once again made a mistake with his smite, and used it on Scuttle, which gave C9 a chance to secure it, even though the fight went on. Then it was C9’s turn to try for the Baron. He secured it very fast and then killed twice. However, he didn’t try to end the game as the Elder was about to spawn. But C9 didn’t need to take the Elder, they just fought and hit their enemy. A teleporting fudge ended the game and earned C9 a Worlds 2022 spot.
