
After a few weeks of minor updates, Bungie released a huge blog post for fate 2 on Thursday. The article provides a ton of information about the upcoming weapon and balance changes, and it’s pretty long.
For our purposes here, we’re mainly going to discuss the alien changes that come with Season 19 (coming December 6th) and beyond. Specifically, let’s talk about the upcoming changes in destiny 2The Most Controversial Weapon: Divinity.
In the blog post, Bungie revealed that Divinity — which weakens enemies, deals more damage to them, and creates a bigger crit spot on their bodies — is now down to 30%, offering only a 15% debuff on targets. Will do This is a significant nerf, and should make way for players to use other debuffs that have gone unused for many years.
This Nerf comes about a month after there’s been some drama in the Destiny community because of the weapon. In September, Saltagreppo, the world’s first three-time raider, Tweeted a thread about divinityEssentially complaining that the weapon has felt indispensable for almost three years now, since it was added to the game alongside Shadowki’s Garden of Salvation Raid.

This caused a huge stir in the Destiny community. Some players agreed that the weapon needed to be turned down, while others called Saltagreppo an elitist who wanted to make the game more difficult for non-streamers. However, while some might blame the conversation Saltagrepo spawned around the divinity for this nerf, Bungie claims it’s been testing a fix for months.
Overall, this nerf should add a little more variety fate 2Raid scene, which has become stale after years of using divinity.
Outside of Divinity Nerf, Bungie noted that 26 Exotics will see changes in Season 19, some of which are substantial and others relatively light touches. The studio is also looking for ways to add both the amazing functionality and subclass 3.0 actions to champion in more exotics.
In the blog post, Bungie made a small nod to the next raid to come. fate 2, One of the questions in the post describes what Bungie would do if either an alien was not tied up in the redo raid or if the original raid alien had already been tied up Destiny 2 – Bungie said it would simply create a new alien that would fit thematically with the raid.
This question suggests that Bungie is dealing with bringing in Wrath of the Machine – the fourth and final original destiny raid fate 2 subsequent years. Wrath of the Machine’s original Raid Exotic was Outbreak Prime, which was replicated by Bungie in fate 2 In 2019 as Outbreak Perfected. Wrath of the Machine is the only Destiny Raid to have its Exotic added. fate 2 Without the raid that comes with it, which makes it quite an obvious tease.
