Deathloop is launching on the Xbox Series X and S, a year after it first launched as a PS5 exclusive, and will also be added to the PS Plus Premium and Extra library the same day. When Deathloop lands on Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus, gamers will also be able to download the new free Goldenloop update.
It offers crossplay for PvP on the PlayStation Network, Xbox, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
If you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber who awaits the release of Deathloop, you can pre-load the game now.
Deathloop has a 39.1GB file size on the Xbox Series X and S.
In terms of the release timing of Deathloop on Xbox Game Pass, Express.co.uk has contacted Microsoft to confirm when it will launch on XGP.
Release times may vary when it comes to adding a game to Game Pass. For example, the recent XGP hit Immortality was released at 5pm UK time on release day.
So if you don’t immediately see Deathloop available on Game Pass at midnight on a Tuesday in your area, it may be abandoned until later.
An online post ahead of Deathloop’s release on PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass Bethesda detailed what fans can expect at launch and from the new Goldenloop update.
Crossplay will be one of Deathloop’s big additions, but there will be other new additions to the game.

If you thought other Sanatanists were off their rockers, wait until you meet the paint-bomber. These new NPCs are taking their creative flair to a whole new level, arming themselves with a bandolier of paint-filled explosives that they’re so happy to ignite as they splash your way.
New Ability Upgrades: Four New Upgrades for Juliana’s Masquerade Ability
– Ensemble: Target up to three NPCs with Masquerade
– Regenerate: Regenerate health while using Masquerade on NPCs
– Expose: When an NPC affected by Masquerade dies or spots a colt, the colt is automatically tagged
– Secret: The damage done while using the Masquerade is converted into energy
New 2-in-1 Trinket
19 new trinkets have been added to DEATHLOOP, but these trinkets are not the same as before. These 2-in-1 trinkets combine the capabilities of all two existing trinkets.
