Dungeons & Dragons used Tuesday’s press conference to tease a packed release schedule, which includes the return of the Planescape campaign setting in the fall of 2023. The beloved setting, first published in 1994, would receive the same treatment provided with Wizards of the Coast. Spelljammer: Adventures in Space: A three-book slipcase including a setting guide, bestiary, and adventure adventure.

These include other traditional D&D settings on the physical plane, the inner plane, which represents elemental forces, and the outer plane ruled by gods, angels, and demons.
The city of Sigil serves as a hub for interplanar travel and is a rich setting with complex factions and a mysterious ruler known as the Lady of Pain. While the demonic bondage, the celestial tactile Asimer, and the elemental aspected genera have become staples in D&D, they were first introduced in Plainscape as “planet-touched” people. The return of Plainscape was teased in July traced Archana Release that introduced glitches, a new player option similar to Rogue Modron. In Plainscape, modrons are constructions that enforce the rules of law and order from the clockwork nirvana of Mechanus. The glitchlings may begin collecting information about other aircraft in order to bring the Mecanus back, but some love their journey so much that they decide to strike out on their own.
