Not only its name but many of the elements introduced by Coroman, a newly launched game by developer TRAGsoft, bear a strong resemblance to Pokemon, especially one of the earliest titles in the franchise.
The vintage pixel graphics and the game’s overall aesthetics and user interface will certainly strike a chord with players who enjoyed playing early Pokémon games many years ago.
Those who liked the trailer and demo, which were launched long back in 2020, will be overjoyed to see the game finally release. While the game received an initial release on Steam in March, now Nintendo Switch users have the option to play it as well.

Although the developers had planned to release the game on Steam and Nintendo Switch simultaneously, this could not be done for a number of reasons. The developers said in an officially released statement that there were some problems with the cross-platform multiplayer mode and the game’s online features. Because of that, the developers said, the game had a delayed release on the Nintendo Switch. Although it took some time, TRAGsoft managed to resolve the issues and now, Coroman can be enjoyed in its full form by Nintendo Switch users.

Even though the Pokémon franchise has gone from strength to strength in recent years, Coroman has a good chance of building a solid base for himself. Pokémon games have evolved a lot over the years. Those who have played the earlier Pokémon games will agree with the fact that the new-age Pokémon games look very different from the early games in the franchise.
