The official website of the television anime adaptation of Sarasa Nagase’s Akuyaku Rijou Nanod Last Boss Wu Kattemimashita (I’m the Villain, So I’m Taming the Final Boss) revealed additional cast and opening theme on Thursday. The anime will premiere in October 2022 on Tokyo MX, MBS, BS-TBS and WOW.

Donnie: Takuto Yoshinaga (Mairimashita! Iruma-kun)

Quartz: Yue Miyazaki (Nemureru 100-nin no Oji-sama from Yume Okoku)
One of the main cast of the anime, Rei Takahashi, will sing the opening theme “Kyukan saranakute mo i ja nai”.
Kumiko Habara (100-Man no Inochi no Ui ni Ore wa Tateiru) is piloting the fantasy romance anime at Maho Film. Kenta Ihara (Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchu) is handling the series’ composition and writing the script. Momoko Makiuchi (Ginban Kaleidoscope), Eri Kojima (Leadley no Daiichi Knight), and Yuko Oba (Uchi no Ko no Tame Narba prop design) are designing the characters.
Nagase began writing comedy fantasy novels on the Shosetsuka ni Narou website in May 2017. Kadokawa began printing the series in September of that year under his Beans Bunko imprint with illustrations by Mai Murasaki, and shipped the ninth volume last October 2021. The tenth volume will be released on 30 September.
Anko Yuzu serialized a manga adaptation in Monthly Comp Ace from June 2018 to August 2019. Kadokawa released the third and final volume in December 2019.
Yen Press licensed both the light novel and the manga in English last year. The third volume of the light novel was released on 5 July, with the fourth volume scheduled to ship on 8 November. The third and final volume of the manga was shipped on March 1.
