With Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 out soon, we have our own thoughts on what we’d really love to see. Unsurprisingly, there haven’t been too many leaks up to this point, so we’re completely in the dark if any of this is turning out to be true.
The reality tree biome persists

At this time, it’s unlikely that whatever cataclysmic event is coming to end Chapter 3 Season 3 will wipe out the reality tree biome. The roots of Reality Tree have been dug a lot, and given that they’ve rewritten the Reality Tree to replace several named locations, it doesn’t feel like something that can be easily removed.
It’s more likely that the Chrome that’s being hinted at, along with whatever bigger bad is coming, will compete with the Reality Tree biome, and we’ll end up with a map split in half.
withdrawal of IO forces

Our desire for the withdrawal of IO (Fictitious Order) troops is completely selfish. Considering how many weekly quests in Chapter 3 Season 3 required doing something to “an opponent”, hunting for wolves to easily complete them was annoying.
These quests are pretty easy with a bunch of simple AI roaming set locations, so you always know where to go for some free quest progress.
To use as more animal mounts

Chapter 3 Season 3 finally introduced a new use for pigs and wolves that can be found around the map: they can be used as mounts. This gave players a new mode of transportation that proved to be much more versatile than vehicles, but certainly not as strong and not always as fast.
We would love to see new animal types introduced into the wild. Maybe a horse so we can all live out our breathless wild fantasies and pretend like Link might one day be brought to Fortnite. Considering the existence of the Nimbus Cloud this season, perhaps a giant bird mountain could serve the same purpose. They will be a lot quieter than Choppa in Chapter 3 Season 2.
Rocky Reels Change/Elimination

Considering the large number of named places that were transformed thanks to the roots of the Reality Tree. However, Rocky Reels remained unchanged. Rocky Reels Chapter 3 has been in the same place with the same look since Season 1, and while it’s a popular landing and fight destination, it deserves a fresh coat of paint.
Whatever happens with the map in the new Chapter 3 Season 4, we want Rocky Reels to either be removed or replaced with something new.
Rift-to-Go Vaulted

Rift-to-Go makes the wonderful Fortnite usable. One press of the trigger, and you are in the air above the fight, able to avoid certain death. However, these are used a lot in Zero Build Mode, thanks to the increased spawn rate. Sometimes it seems like every single fight in the match ends with an opponent hitting the Rift-to-go and running away.
It’s gotten so bad that it left streamer Ninja Rage taking a short break from streaming. The item needs to be vaulted once again, and a new solution needs to be found to increase survivability in Zero Build.

During Chapter 3 Season 3, Assault Rifles and SMGs have caught everyone’s attention. It’s time to fix that and return the hand cannon to the pistol game once again. While the revolver has been featured as a regular weapon in the past few seasons, this is not enough.
Hand cannon must first be brought back, before any other type of weapon can be opened for the new season.
More Star Wars Battle Pass Items

The inclusion of Darth Vader as a Final Battle Pass cosmetic was awesome and Chapter 3 was a great follow-up to Season 2’s terrifying Marvel Battle Pass.
However, it also seems like we didn’t get nearly enough Star Wars. The Darth Shader wrap didn’t feel good enough to join other Star Wars items. So while it was confirmed by leaks from Gwen Stacy that Chapter 3 Season 4 would not be a Marvel season, there’s nothing to say that it won’t be another Star Wars season.
Lord of the Rings Collab

In the middle of last month, we discovered the Lord of the Rings Easter egg, a sandcastle recreation of Helms Deep. While there’s no further word on whether this means anything is in the works, we’d really like any collaboration to come.
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is such a big show at the moment, it won’t be a surprise to see a crossover with Fortnite sometime in the new season. This is at the top of our cooperation wish list.
