Want to increase your GPM in patch 7.32b? Check out our heroes list to help you out!
Although some Dota 2 players choose support, others are mostly interested in the core. In addition to doing more damage, these heroes also do a lot of farming, which allows them to buy more stuff. Farming is so important that we decided to create a special article in which we would like to point out some of the heroes with the highest GPM in patch 7.32b.
Before we begin, we have to point out that the latest patch for Dota 2 has some interesting changes. For example, there is a creep that spawns every two minutes and gives extra gold when killed. Some neutral camps are also slightly different, meaning those things have an effect on the GMP. Speaking of Satan, these three characters stand for Gold Per Minute, and they show the effectiveness that a given hero in farming has.
the Alchemist
No matter which patch you play on, the Alchemist will always be the best hero in terms of farming. Even though there are other heroes who clear waves faster, their passive ability, called Greville’s Greed, allows them to farm faster than everyone else. In fact, Bonus Gold can reach up to 24 per kill, and the stack lasts 36 seconds. On top of that, Alchemist has a 3x Bounty Rune multiplier, which makes him even more dangerous.
Since Alch is the fastest-farming hero in the game, people often put him in the mid-lane. This allows him to get the required level and farm and start pushing slowly. However, he isn’t as strong before and after level 6 unless he’s got at least a few items. Needless to say, enemy players take advantage of this and do everything possible to stop him from farming.
Sadly, shutting down Alk is easier said than done, even for those who know what they’re doing. The hero is really strong and can always regenerate with his ultimate, which makes him a tough opponent.
arch warden
The number two spot on the list may surprise some of you, especially when you see that the protagonist is actually closer to the Arch Warden. According to DotaBuff stats, the Arch Warden averages 697 GPM, which means he’s 22 gold away from reaching the King.
Arch Warden has always been one of the top tier damage farmers, especially if you decide to get Hands of Midas. This item helps the hero a lot as it allows his Tempest Double to farm as fast as he can. In fact, good Arch Warden players can easily outwit almost any other hero in the game and use their advantage to participate in team fights and pushes.
Apart from the two Midas, Arch is on top right now as he is a hot mid-laner. Even though he’s not the best, the hero’s win rate is pretty impressive, which means he’ll continue to play an important role in the game.
anti mage
Second place on the list may be surprising, but the same is not true for third. Everyone knows that Anti-Mage is one of the fastest farmers in the game, so he definitely deserves to be in the top three. Even though the protagonist is not on the same level as the Alchemist, he still farms more than any other safe lane.
Inexperienced Dota 2 players may wonder why he’s farming so fast even though he doesn’t have any nuclear weapons. The answer is simple – he has Blink. This ability, combined with Battle Fury, allows him to move around and clear all neutral camps and alleys in no time. Plus, his mana burn works great against creeps with a mana pool because it allows him to deal even more damage.
Despite his farming speed, Anti-Mage isn’t one of the hot heroes in the meta. In fact, he’s one of the least chosen because most people like to get something that allows them to fight early. Needless to say, Anti-Mage is a late-game monster that can destroy everyone in seconds.
clinkzo
This is undoubtedly the most surprising hero on the list as the Klinks were notorious for being one of the slowest farmers in the game. In fact, this was the hero people chose when they wanted to counter some of the names mentioned above, such as Anti-Mage.
However, changes in his abilities, notably Burning Barrage, made him one of the strongest carries in the game, at least in terms of farm. Data from DotaBuff shows that the Clinkz has 612 GPM, which is slightly less than the Anti-Mage. What is even more impressive is the hero’s high win rate which indicates that he is one of the best in the current meta.
medusa
Next, we have one of the strongest late-game monsters in the game and one of the few heroes in Dota 2 who can move the game on their own. Medusa is a mighty hero in the hands of those who know how to use a hero. Speaking of using it, Medusa is fairly simple to master as you need to farm as much as possible and buy the items you need.
Medusa is very close to Clinkz in terms of GPM as Hero has 606. Sadly, she is not as popular as she once was, especially among pro players. Most of them prefer to use other meta carry which allow them to fight and push.
Naga Siren
Of the Dota 2 heroes, there are only a few who are as good to push as Medusa, and Nigga Siren is one of them. It was one of the best heroes to farm a few patches ago because most people ran to Radiance and used their illusions. Even though some of them do so today, others focus on getting the items that allow them to fight quickly.
Naga sirens often wield things like a diffuse blade, followed by a manta style and even a butterfly. These items allow the hero to be more aggressive and fight quickly.
